Readers with big screen

The assortment of the ONYX BOOX brand has several models of readers with screens from 7.8 "to 13.3". The most expensive and impressive device is the MAX Lumi model, which is equipped with a 13.3" E Ink Mobius display and an HDMI port, so that it can even be used as a monitor. The more affordable Note 3 and Note Air readers are equipped with E Ink screens with a diagonal 10.3". They cannot be used as monitors, but they are great for reading a variety of books and documents, as well as for taking notes and even for sketching, since Wacom styluses with support for 4096 degrees of pressure are supplied with them. The Nova 3 model, equipped with a 7.8" E Ink Carta Plus screen, is also supplied with such a Wacom stylus, but such styluses are not included with KON-TIKI readers, which are very similar to it, and they have only one touchscreen ( the one that is controlled by fingers; other ONYX BOOX readers with screens from 7.8 "are now equipped with two touchscreens).

The advantages of all current ONYX BOOX models with large displays include multifunctional software, the Android 10 operating system, an eight-core processor, a good amount of RAM and internal memory for a reader (respectively from 3 to 4 GB and from 32 to 64 GB), a modern USB port -C, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, as well as high-quality screen backlight. Nova 3 Color deserves special mention - a reader with a 7.8-inch E Ink Kaleido Plus color screen. This model can be used to read books with various kinds of pictures, documents with diagrams and illustrations, as well as comics. However, keep in mind that the color quality of E Ink screens still leaves a lot to be desired. For full-fledged work with photographs, for example, such screens are not suitable.
